What does auriferous mean?
Auriferous means “gold bearing”. It is commonly used as a geological term, e.g. an auriferous placer, that is, a sandbar in a river containing gold particles.
Our mascot, the prospector, is searching for the nuggets that represent business opportunities... or operating anomalies that are priceless, provided they are found before they can cause damage.
